Technology & IP

AI and a clinically proven algorithm, grounded in medical device experience.

Our technology assets include a proprietary clinical database and an algorithm clinically proven over many years. We assess their relevance to each product’s intended use before proposing integration or licensing.

The database provides clinical reference data; the algorithm processes compatible sensor signals. Supported signal types, measures and validation scope are reviewed for each engagement.

We combine these assets with AI capabilities and medical device experience through the following engagement options.

How clients use it

License the algorithm, integrate it with your product, co-develop, or explore AI applications.

License the algorithm. Build our clinically proven algorithm into your product under a licence agreed for your use case, field of use and markets.

Integrate with our team. We adapt and integrate the algorithm with your hardware, data pipeline and software, and support validation toward medical and clinical status.

Co-develop a product. Where the fit is strong, we develop the product with you and share in the profit once it reaches the market.

Explore AI applications. We help device companies assess and implement AI across R&D, product and sales, with a defined use case and specialist review. Our clinically proven algorithm is a separate asset; we do not assume it is AI.

We discuss relevant performance evidence, validation scope, data permissions and IP terms before agreeing a project. Any product claims must be supported for the intended use and target market.

What we will and will not claim

Precision about our technology protects your product and ours.

Discuss the relevant evidence, performance and IP information under agreed confidentiality terms.

  1. 01

    Evidence on the table

We describe the algorithm’s clinical record within its validated scope and review the relevant evidence with prospective partners under agreed confidentiality terms.

  2. 02

    Evidence for the intended use

Evidence and authorisation for one product, population, use or market do not automatically establish suitability for another. Each product needs its own assessment.

  3. 03

    Fit before integration

We assess sensor, signal and data compatibility and agree product-specific performance and validation requirements before integration.

  4. 04

    Clear IP lines

Background IP, new IP and data rights are agreed in writing before work starts.

  5. 05

    Data handled with care

Data use, access, protection and responsibilities are agreed for each engagement, taking account of the applicable rules and permissions.

From medical insight to real-world innovation.
