Who we are

This privacy notice explains how Vienova Pte. Ltd. (“Vie Nova”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202501738K), handles personal data in connection with this website, vienova.io. We aim to handle personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What this website is

This is an information website. It describes Vie Nova and how to contact us. It has no user accounts, online ordering, payments, contact forms or newsletter sign-up.

Personal data we collect

We collect personal data only when you choose to email us, for example by using a “mailto” link to [email protected]. In that case we receive what you include in your email, such as your name, email address, organisation and the content of your message.

We do not use this website to collect health or medical data. Please do not send health, medical or other sensitive personal information about yourself or anyone else by email unless we have specifically agreed a suitable way to do so.

Cookies and device storage

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and does not set cookies.

To make the site work, your browser stores a few small, non-identifying settings on your own device only: your preferred language (English or Chinese), kept in local storage under the key “vn-language”; a note that you have dismissed the storage notice, kept in local storage under the key “vn-storage-notice-dismissed”; and a note that the logo animation has already played, kept in session storage under the key “vn-header-logo-v11-seen” and cleared when you close the browser. These settings are not sent to us and are not used to track you. Because they are essential to how the site works, we do not ask for consent to them. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Technical information

Our hosting and content delivery provider, Cloudflare, may automatically process technical information needed to deliver this site securely, such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors or to build profiles.

How we use personal data

We use the personal data you send us to read and respond to your enquiry, to discuss a possible working relationship, to keep a record of our correspondence, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Disclosure and transfers

We use service providers to run this website and our email: Cloudflare (website hosting and content delivery) and Google Workspace (email). We may also share personal data with professional advisers, or where required by law. Cloudflare and Google may process data outside Singapore. Where data is transferred overseas, we take steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.

Retention and security

We keep enquiry emails for up to two years after our last contact with you, and then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. We use reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data, although no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Subject to the PDPA, you may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent to our use of it. Our Data Protection Officer can be contacted at [email protected] for these requests and any question about this notice. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
